Rain delay

It poured with rain one night when I was in Bayswater heading from pub to tube. I was one of the few people brave enough to walk through it. Others were huddled under awnings and in doorways -- even those with umbrellas.

This led to the miraculous experience of me being in parts of the Queensway tube alone. I took the lift -- usually wall-to-wall bodies -- down to this corridor alone and snapped a self portrait. It seemed ironic that Londoners were so squeamish about rain.
